Welcome to the April edition of inTouch – for many it’s
the new financial year and with it comes new goals and we’re
here to help you achieve them.
We’re often asked by clients to provide a few bullet points
to help them sell ideas into their teams so this month, we’ve
put a couple of lists together – in the hope that it may help
you.
Top 5 Reasons to Use
Email Marketing We’re being asked more and more
by clients to help create and manage their email campaigns, so
here are 5 reasons why you must have email marketing as part
of your marketing arsenal:
1. It’s a Must
Do You may want more customers, new leads or an
increase in sales – in fact whatever your goals are, email
marketing is a direct route to new business. A well-planned
and stylishly designed email marketing campaign allows you to
promote offers and discounts as well as providing the chance
to cross-sell your products and services.
2. Closely
Targeted A closely targeted campaign can generate high
response rates. The quality of your data and the relevance of
your message are important so get these right and you’re on
your way to a successful campaign.
3. Instant
Impact No other medium puts your message straight in
front of people quite like email marketing can. With
recipients happy to hear from you, you’ve overcome many of the
traditional barriers faced by other methods such as some
advertising and cold-calling.
4.
Measurable Unlike other marketing activities, email
marketing campaigns can be measured easily, closely and almost
instantaneously. We can show you how many people saw your
email, how many people clicked on the links and even how your
campaign compares to industry averages for your
sector.
5. Cost-Effective Email is a low cost
medium and as such sending out the right messages at the right
time to the right people can really help build your brand and
increase enquiries and sales – for a lower investment than you
may think.

3 Ways to Tell it’s
Time to Update your Logo Many people overlook
the importance of their company image, so why should you
consider redesigning your corporate logo?
1.
Tired and Old Fashioned If your current logo is looking
tired or old fashioned, the chances are that’s how you are
perceived by potential customers – and it’s definitely time
for an update. Does your current identity truly reflect your
business and what you do? If not, then you should seriously
consider refreshing your appearance.
2. New or
Improved? Whilst minor changes to the products you
offer or services you provide shouldn’t mean you have to
redesign your identity, if you have changed a range of
services or you’ve grown considerably in terms of what you
offer, then your logo should reflect your improved standing in
the market. A redesign of your brand for this reason will
encourage existing customers to consider your products or
services that they maybe didn’t know you
offered.
3. New target audience It’s not
unusual to change target markets – perhaps it’s new products
or services that have led you to target new areas or it could
be that you are looking to take existing products or services
into an existing market. If so, then it is highly likely that
you will need to improve the impression you make and a new
corporate identity can really help get you noticed and make
the impact needed.
Our Top Tip A new identity
helps to establish true brand values and can support service
expectations and should your business have changed in any of
these key areas, then it’s time you assessed your image with a
view to redesigning your brand.
